ACT is a unique practical course in Christian discipleship and ministry with a focus on both biblical studies and assessed application.
ACT has been accredited by the National Open College Network (NOCN) as a level 3 course.
ACT consists of three modules:
Biblical Interpretation and Application
Explore key biblical themes, learn to handle biblical texts with increased confidence and gain a clearer understanding of Jesus, the Cross, Paul and their theological significance for Today’s World.
Purpose and Application of Ministry Gifts
Develop an understanding of prophecy, evangelism, leadership and pastoral care. Also practice these ministries in various settings.
Applied Christian Beliefs
Face the challenges of daily discipleship: expand your prayer language, reflect theologically on contemporary issues and gain a holistic approach to personal and corporate spirituality.
Each module is 10 weeks in length, requiring the attendance of one evening class per week and an equal amount of time given to a mix of personal study, coaching and practical assignments.
Each module can be completed and certified by the NOCN. Though participants will benefit greatly by completing all three modules for a period of one or more years that best suits them.
